The Local Catch Network is committed to fostering a vibrant and resilient local seafood system. Since the earliest years of the network, helping community-based fisheries and seafood business gain traction has been central to our work. We have offered technical assistance for grant writing that has helped organizations in our network gain resources to catalyze their growth and impact. We have delivered a business fundamentals course to help network members get started, and we are thrilled to now offer a year-long mentorship component to this work. We plan to let the needs and aspirations of our network drive the evolution of these services under a new umbrella, our Seafood Accelerator & Innovation Lab (SAIL). We invite you to be thought partners in this transformation as we consider all that we can do to create impact and support innovation within the LCN community.
